They’re padded with a blend of renewable, plant-based foam, and some of the conventional stuff. So still soft and cushiony but from more responsible sources. Our regenerated leather outsoles are made of 70% leather waste. We like recycled materials because they lessen the water and carbon impact of our shoes, and keep stuff out of landfills
